UB40 Tribute Band - Rats In The Kitchen
Biography
Rats in The Kitchen was formed late in the Summer of 1998 in UB40’s home town of Birmingham by a group of friends who had known each other through the local music scene for sometime. Like the real UB40, we all had a common love of Reggae music in general and had followed the band since their first hits in the early 1980’s. This makes playing together and performing songs that we have grown up with a pleasure, which is evident at every gig that we perform. Creating the right atmosphere adds to the overall pleasure for our audience and guarantees customer satisfaction and repeats bookings. Take this and add our calm and professional attitude and you can be sure that booking Rats In the Kitchen for your venue makes perfect sense in all respects.
The bands aim is to faithfully reproduce the music of UB40 using only live instruments and vocals without the use of backing tracks and sequencers. The Band Dave ‘Box’ Trouth - Lead vocals and rhythm guitar Michael Harris - Lead Guitar Eddie Lancaster - Tenor saxophone Michael ‘Joey’ Greenaway - Keyboards and synthesiser Paul Benjamin - Bass guitar Simon Mosley - Drums and backing vocals
