Biography

Since his fantastic performance on Stars In Their Eyes, leading to a clear win on his heat, Robert Lamberti’s career has gone from strength to strength.  Touring the UK and EUROPE,  regularly singing to stunned sell-out crowds who can’t believe the vocal and visual  excellence of his portrayal, Robert is often asked if he mimes to the real thing; a compliment  indeed!

Some of the highlights of his impressive portfolio to date include TV appearances on ‘The Girlie Show’ and ‘The Late Late Show’, as well as performances alongside such greats as Paul Young, China Black, Mica Paris, Bob Monkhouse, Bob Down and Shed Seven to name a handful.  Robert has successfully completed numerous seasons at Butlins, Pontins and Warner Holiday Villages, all of which are on the agenda again for the future.  Robert Lamberti truly is a one-off.  To see and hear is to believe.

BOLDER

‘BOLDER’ – More than a hour dedicated to the sheer brilliance that is George Michael, executed with point blank accuracy by the uniquely talented Robert Lamberti.

After 5 minutes of exciting video which sets the scene, a young vibrant George Michael complete with BSA biker jacket and acoustic guitar  leaps to centre stage, blasting out old favourites such as ‘Wham Rap’, ‘Faith’ and ‘I’m Your Man’ with seamless authenticity.  Halfway through the scheduled half hour of ‘old George’, the cowboy hats and denim suits go on for a fantastic rendition of ‘Club Tropicana’ amongst other nostalgic Wham superhits which round off a fabulous first half.

Four minutes of stirring video footage later, and a smarter, more sophisticated performer sleekly returns to the microphone to sing creamy renditions of hits such as ‘Older’, ‘You Have Been Loved’, ‘Star People’, ‘Somebody to Love’ and ‘Fastlove’.
