The liveliest seventies disco show in the UK. Colourful, funky and authentic in every detail, this non-stop show will keep dance floors packed and convince audiences that they have gone back in time to the heady days of the seventies.

 

Earth Wind for Hire is fronted by 3 vocalists, Kevin, Beverley & Julie who are each an aural and optical delight!  They are carried along by a an excellent 8 piece rhythm section comprising of guitars, keyboards, brass and drums creating a beat that is both relentless and totally infectious. Together, they pay homage to those 70’s dance floor giants, including:

 

Earth Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Chic, Shalamar, Kool & The Gang, KC & The Sunshine Band, Sister Sledge & Average White Beard.

 

The founding members of Earth Wind For Hire are originally from the band 'Fekisha' who are signed to EMI publishing. They were managed by Long Lost Brothers who also manage Jamiraquai, Damage and also brought you The Brand New Heavies.

 

As Fekisha, The band toured extensively with Sister Sledge, Womack & Womack, Jamiraquai, The Brand New Heavies, The Pasedenas and worked on co-productions with Danny 'D', Andrew Levy from The Brand New Heavies, Femo from The Young Desciples, Johnny 'dollar' Sharpe (Massive Attack, Neneh Cherry, EMF)

 

Earth Wind For Hire have strutted their stuff at corporate functions, Clubs, Festivals, Universtities, Private functions etc, always making it 'a night to remember'! As regulars at the London Hippodrome, Earth Wind For Hire was a huge Success. Throughout 2001 they appeared at Poo Na Na's (Ex London Palais) on selected Weekends.

 

The show features designer costumes from the 70's era and comprises of either 2 x 45 minutues or an hour long set.
